The Second Newsletter of the YESDGs Project is Online!

The second newsletter of the Erasmus Plus YESDGs project is now available, featuring specific insights on:

  • Promoting youth engagement for sustainability: The goal is to encourage active participation from young people, fostering responsible citizenship, supporting the development of sustainable entrepreneurial initiatives, and raising awareness about climate change. This approach aims to create a generation of young people who are not only well-informed about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) but also motivated to take concrete actions to safeguard the environment and improve global social and economic conditions.
  • Results of the international report: The report examines the main environmental concerns expressed by young people, such as climate change and biodiversity loss, highlighting the urgency of addressing these challenges at a global level. It also emphasizes the need to strengthen communication between institutions and civil society, improving the understanding and adoption of the SDGs. A special focus is placed on the need to more directly involve young people in the development of environmental and social policies, ensuring that their voices are heard and their needs are met.
  • Upcoming events: Pilot tests are planned, giving young people the opportunity to review and provide feedback on SDG-related training materials, to improve the effectiveness of the available educational resources. Additionally, World Environment Day, celebrated on June 5th, presents an unmissable occasion to raise awareness on environmental issues and promote concrete actions for the protection of the planet.
